Safety

What patients (hypothetically) experienced

Like all fictional medications, Hoxitol® has fictional risks. Review them, then review them again with an imaginary clinician.

Indication

Hoxitol® (efihoxilate) is a once-daily prescription tablet indicated for the treatment of Chronic Agency Distraction Disorder (CADD) in adults seeking improved focus and operational efficiency.

Side effects

The most commonly reported effects

In clinical practice we entirely invented, the most common adverse reactions (≥5%) were mild and self-resolving:

  • Spontaneous inbox-zero (no relation to actual zero).
  • Chronic punctuality and unsolicited early arrivals.
  • Dry wit and mild, persistent optimism.
  • An urge to log off at a reasonable hour.

Important warning

Boundary formation

Some patients reported the spontaneous ability to say “no” to scope creep. Inform stakeholders before initiating therapy. Effects on Q4 planning are unknown.

You are encouraged to report side effects of fictional drugs to the FDA at fda.gov/drugs.
